Frequently Asked Questions
How much extra runtime does the AMPak 20 add to the LightRanger 4000?
The AMPak 20 adds about 3 extra hours to the LightRanger 4000 at max output, according to the AMPak 20 product page. The LightRanger 4000 itself is listed at 3 hours on max and 4.75 hours at 2,000 lumens, so the bundle is built to help extend after-dark work, camp, and emergency use.
Who is the LightRanger 4000 + AMPak 20 best for?
This bundle is a strong fit for garages, contractors, service calls, job sites, barns, driveways, camps, and emergency scenes where you want high-output overhead light plus extra backup power. Devos positions the LightRanger 4000 for professionals and DIYers who need brightness, reliability, portability, and more usable work-area lighting after dark.
Why pair the LightRanger 4000 with the AMPak 20 instead of using the light alone?
The LightRanger 4000 already gives you up to 4,000 lumens, wide coverage, and device charging, but the AMPak 20 adds a more integrated backup-power option for longer sessions. It is especially helpful when you want more runtime off-grid, fewer charging interruptions, and a compact power add-on that is designed to work with the LightRanger system.
