Features
No Drilling. No Tripod.
The SeaSucker vacuum cup grips glass, gelcoat, and polished metal, so your LightRanger can ride on a truck roof, boat deck, or window instead of taking up ground space.
Everything You Need to Mount Up.
The kit includes the SeaSucker mount and a milled aluminum 1/4"-20 adapter that connects your LightRanger head to the mount's threaded top. No extra parts to track down.
See the Hold at a Glance.
Pump until the orange indicator disappears. If the mount ever starts to lose vacuum, an orange band shows on the plunger, so you know to re-pump before it lets go.
On in Seconds. Off in Seconds.
Lift the release tab and the seal lets go. Move your light from the truck to the trailer to the boat as the day changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included?
One SeaSucker mount and one milled aluminum 1/4"-20 adapter for your LightRanger head. The LightRanger is sold separately.
Which LightRanger does this kit fit?
SeaSucker designed this mount to be fully compatible with the LightRanger 1200, 2000, and 4000. Have a LightRanger 800? The SeaSucker mount works with it too, paired with the 1/4"-20 Adapter for LightRanger 800, sold separately.
What surfaces does the SeaSucker mount stick to?
Smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces work best, like glass, gelcoat, fiberglass, and polished metal. Think truck roofs, boat decks, trailers, RVs, and windows.
Do I need to clean the surface first?
Yes, but it's quick. Wipe off any dirt with a wet paper towel and make sure the sealing edge of the vacuum pad is clean too. No alcohol wipes needed.
How do I know it's holding?
Pump the vacuum cup until the orange indicator disappears. If the mount starts to lose vacuum, the pump's plunger extends and shows an orange band. Once you see orange, give it a few more pumps.
How long will the mount hold?
There's no set time limit. It depends on the surface, the condition of the vacuum pad, and the load. Smooth, flat, clean surfaces hold longest, and the orange band warns you to re-pump before the mount lets go.
How strong is the hold?
SeaSucker rates its vacuum mounts at 120 to 210 lbs of straight-out pull, depending on cup size. That's far more than a LightRanger weighs. Pulling from the side holds less than pulling straight out.
Will it damage my vehicle or boat?
No. There's no drilling, screws, or permanent hardware. On a clean, compatible surface, the vacuum cup holds without leaving holes behind.
How do I take it off?
Lift the release tab and the seal lets go in seconds.
Can I use the adapter with other tripods?
Yes. The 1/4"-20 adapter also lets you put your LightRanger head on camera tripods and other mounting plates with a standard 1/4"-20 connection.
I already have a SeaSucker mount. What do I need?
Just the adapter. The 1/4"-20 Adapter for LightRanger 1200 is sold on its own.
