Another game-changing innovation for your portable lighting ecosystem, the LightRanger Motion Sensor gives your LightRanger lantern intelligence to turn on and illuminate an area when it senses motion around it. Simply plug in the motion sensor to the USB-C port, select your desired light settings and your LightRanger now provides added safety and security around camp, by your backyard grill, or anywhere else you use your light.

LightRanger Motion Sensor
I haven’t used it at camp yet but it’s well-built and it will serve its purpose of keeping people away from our campsite at night. I wish they also added an alarm feature. That extra feature would be a great addition to this gadget. Devos products don’t disappoint.

LightRanger Motion Sensor
I just recently attached and the motion sensor on my Devos 1200 and it works great for an all night bar b q smoking a brisket. Lights came on automatically when I needed them and back off automatically.

LightRanger Motion Sensor
Not a fan! It barely attaches to the stand. Looks like it’s going to fall off. The sensor works up to about 15 maybe 20 feet in my house. Took a camping once left it outside the tent all night when I woke up in the morning, I walked right up to it And it did not initiate the light. The battery on the light was fine. I tested it but the motion sensor did not work at all. There was a light rain that evening. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. The Light Ranger is awesome. Love it. Don’t waste your money on the motion sensor. You can buy other escalating lights for much cheaper as well.
